New Wine New Look! Enjoy the winemaker’s passion for being terroir driven and island only, our serious red has been released. This is from our estate Cabernet Foch grapes that we have been growing for the past 12 years, with Mark’s vision to make a bolder red since we began. This has depth and dimension and pairs with the heavier foods and is our bold red. Great with a rib steak and arugula salad, goat cheese or roast lamb. This has plum, black currants and roast pepper notes. It is earthy with a slight toast. There definitely are characteristics here of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. We hope you enjoy this story and experience as much as we have. This is the "Blattner” series cross and we trellis it differently to become a low maintenance vineyard and develop the flavours of the fruit as it’s an agressive growing plant so it takes more time developing fruit than growing the vines. We love sipping this wine to enjoy the boldness. Even better than the previous years that have won medals at the All Canadian Wine Championships against Canadian reds. This is our third vintage now so hoping for the Trifecta affect and winning gold.
